In 2026, VASTARA joined Make it in the Emirates as an exhibitor; stepping onto one of the UAE's most significant platforms for advanced manufacturing to showcase not just what the company builds, but how it thinks. Rather than presenting a single product, VASTARA brought its full identity to the floor: the core values driving the company, the proprietary material science database underpinning every part it produces, and a curated selection of delivered projects demonstrating what engineering-grade additive manufacturing looks like in practice.
For a young, UAE-founded manufacturer, the exhibition was more than a showcase; it was a test of whether VASTARA's positioning as a material-science-first engineering partner would resonate with an audience of industry leaders, institutions, and fellow manufacturers.
More Than a Showcase
It did. Conversations at the booth quickly moved beyond curiosity into genuine technical interest. Visitors engaged directly with VASTARA's material database, asking pointed questions about mechanical properties, validated performance data, and the engineering rigor behind the numbers - the kind of scrutiny that signals real evaluation, not casual interest.
Two of those conversations proved pivotal. Discussions that began on the exhibition floor with Khalifa University's Intratomics research group laid the early groundwork for what would become an active graphene-composite materials research collaboration. In parallel, initial talks opened with the Emirates Global Aluminium group, planting the seed for a relationship that would later see VASTARA selected into a competitive industrial accelerator program.
